A Taste of Permaculture

Have you ever wondered what permaculture actually is, and more importantly, how it can impact you and your life?

Join us at FarmED in Oxfordshire for a taster session and we’ll talk you through the basic concepts and give you a flavour of what a more in-depth course could look like.

We’ll explore how the ‘advanced common sense’ of permaculture can connect us with many small but mighty ways to bring nature-friendly solutions to life in our homes, gardens and communities.

You’ll hear about the core ethics and principles of permaculture and glimpse how you can use these in many situations – with people as well as plants. You can apply permaculture thinking whether your growing space is a windowbox or hillside!

This session is suitable for all, from newbie gardeners to experienced social entrepreneurs. We’ll combine the practical and playful so expect to leave bubbling with hope and ideas of how to design more sustainability – and smiles - in to life.

“Though the problems of the world are increasingly complex, the solutions remain embarrassingly simple.”
- Bill Mollison one of the founder’s of modern permaculture.

After the talk, you’ll enjoy a fresh, farm to fork style lunch with vegetables from the farm’s Community Supported Agriculture scheme.

Ticket price is £20 and includes a set lunch, tea/coffee & cake.
Booking is via FarmED.
